BEST-Aktiv A is a solvent containing activating agent for the pre-treatment of bonding surfaces. It accelerates curing of BEST-MK products and allows full cure of adhesives on passive surfaces. Aktiv A consists of 99% CFC/FC free carrier agent and the actual activating agent.

APPLICATION
BEST-Aktiv A is an activator for the use in combination with all BEST-MK metal adhesives. It is used for pre-treatment of highly passive metal surfaces and on non-metallic materials. Highly passive surfaces are e. g. galvanically treated components (chrome-plated, nickel-plated, galvanized) and alloyed steel with the following alloying components: Cr, Ni, Wo, Mo.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Apply or spray on surface to be treated. Allow product to dry off completely (5 – 10 minutes) before applying bonding agent or assembling. Bonding process must be initiated within 24 hours after application of the activator.

After application of BEST-Aktiv A fixture time for all BEST-MK metal adhesives is reached within 1 – 10 minutes.

Available in units of 200 ml (aerosol) or 1000 ml / 5000 ml.

STORAGE
Store in a cool, well ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Shelf life in unopened original container: 12 months
